If you have not used iTunes to download Cal Crew videos before, here's how you get them:
- Check to see if you have iTunes. If you don't, Apple Computer lets you download it for free, for either Mac or Windows. See:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
- Once you have iTunes installed, click here and iTunes will automatically open and then navigate to the Friends of Cal Crew Video Archive page.
- When the "Friends of Cal Crew Video Archive" page is displayed, click on the "Subscribe" button. You will be switched to the Podcast section of the iTunes "Source" list, and the most recent video will start to download automatically. To see all of the items in the Archive, click on the little "gray triangle" to the left of the Podcast title ("Friends of Cal Crew Video Archive "). The list of items will appear, and you can manually download each of them whenever you like.
- When a download is complete, a blue dot will appear next to the item and next to the Podcast title. Double click on the item and the video will play in a small panel in the lower left corner of the iTunes window. If you click your cursor on that small area, a larger window will pop up, playing the item and providing you with scrolling and stop-start control. iTunes also has a full screen button that appears when a video starts to play in the small window.
If you have already downloaded iTunes and subscribed to the podcast, iTunes will automatically download the latest new video each time you use it. If several new videos have been added to the podcast since your last use of iTunes, you might have to download them manually.
Not recommended for dial up users or those with older computers (Pentium 4 or later recommended).
