Cal Crew Tailgate Party—October 6, 2012
he Bears are back in Berkeley after spending a year in San Francisco. October 6th is the homecoming game where the Friends of Cal Crew will host their annual tailgate party. Come enjoy lunch and a beer on us as you head to the new memorial stadium!
Head of the Charles, Alumni Tent—October 21, 2012
For the second year Cal will sponsor a tent in the Reunion Village at the Head of the Charles. The head of the Charles regatta takes place from October 20-21, in Boston, MA. Come enjoy snacks and refreshments on us as we watch the Bears try to win in Boston for the first time since 2009.
3rd Annual Dinner, Dance and Auction—March 8, 2013
The Friends of Cal Crew hosted the annual Dinner & Auction last year raising over $80,000 for the crew. The evening was a great success, with our very own Andy Rogers returning as the auctioneer, selling a cake for $1100! This has turned into an event you won’t want to miss! We will dine in the new stadium club at new memorial stadium.
Alumni Day—March 9, 2013
The 2012 Alumni Day was the biggest in recent memory, with over 400 Alumni, Friends and Family gathering at the T. Gary Rogers Rowing Center. All enjoyed Top Dog, who was grilling out in the boatyard, and of course the ice cream cart. We hope to see even more people this year as we celebrate Cal Crew.
